| White Water River |
The White Water River is formed by a runoff of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is just north of Lijiang and the Dry Sea. The water of the river is very white and the gravel and stones in the river help to purify and keep the water clean. The bottom of the riverbed can be seen and is formed by whitish-grey sedimentary rocks. The water of the river is very cold and it is impossible for anyone to swim in. In the summer time, people love to collect the water and drink it to cool themselves off. It is also been said that maidens of the Naxi Minority test the love of their pursuers by using the water. Visiting the river will give you a great pleasant experience and the coolness of the water will be a refreshing taste for you to enjoy during your visit. |

| Black Dragon Pool |
Jade Spring Park is also known as Black Dragon Pool and can be found just north of Lijiang. The name comes from the fact that the waters sparkle like jade and the waters are clear as crystal. The park is green with several willow trees in the area. There is also a waterfall located under the Shuocui Bridge. |

| Yuquan Park |
| Yuquan Park Pool is located at the base of Elephant Mountain in the northern part of Lijiang. The pool is formed by spring water that comes together and gives the pool the name "Black Dragon Pool". The water is very clear and is able to show the reflection of the Yulong Snow Mountain. There are several places of interest to see here, such as: Suocui Bridge, Xietuoling, Deyuelou, Yiwen Pavilion and many others. |

| Yufeng Temple |
| The Yuefeng Lamasery is located near the base of the Yulong Snow Mountain and not too far from an ancient town. The Lamasery was built in the Qing Dynasty during the last year of the Kangxi Period. This lamasery is one of the most important ones in Lijiang. The Main Hall of the lamasery is made of a courtyard with a gate tower, the main hall and two side halls inside. There is a camellia tree over 500 years old that grows in the courtyard and every year there are beautiful blossoms that and show gorgeous flowers. |

| Dry sea |
| The Dry Sea is a highland glacial lake that was formed after the water in the area dried up and is located at the base of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is located at an altitude of 3,100 meters. The Dry Sea is surrounded by these mountains on three sides. |

| Dayan Town |
The town of Lijiang is separated into two tonws divided by Lion Hill. One section is called the New Town, which was created over 40 years ago, and the Old Town, over 850 years go. The old part of town has beautiful ancient architecture and got its name, Dayan, "Big Inkstone", because of the way it is shaped. This place is also a center for the Naxi people. |

| Baisha Ancient Frescos |
| Baisha Mural can be found near Baisha Village on a plain just north of Lijiang. The mural was created from 1385 to 1619 and shows the different types of styles from Taoist, Tibetan, Naxi Buddhists and local Dongba shamans. The murals use various colors, especially black, silver, dark green, gold and red. There are several murals that were taken from Tibetan Buddhist iconography that are very bizarre and have vivid detail. Some of these murals include the damned, the wheel of life, judges of the underworld and many others. |

| Dragon Spruce Plateau |
| The Dragon Spruce Plateau, also named the "Splendid Vale", is a large meadow located in the midst of a primeval forest. The plateau is near the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is surrounded my many spruce trees. The plateau is set at an altitude of over 3,000 meters and is also home to a vast, beautiful meadow. The Naxi people believe that the plateau is an entrance to heaven where people can enjoy each other's presence. Lovers used to come here to die when their love ran out and the plateau is known as a place of tragedy for romantic lovers. |
